For six years, the Rev. and Mrs. David Trainer Sr. have faithfully served the congregation of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Starting Sunday, Jan. 15, the flock will celebrate the couple’s service with an anniversary celebration.
All services will take place at the church, 9327 Lawton Road in the Cheek Community of Beaumont, Texas.
Guest speakers during the week include the Rev. Mack Pollard of St. Paul Baptist Church in China, Texas, at 3 p.m. on Jan. 15; and the Rev. Roy Malveaux of Shining Star Baptist Church in Beaumont at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 12. The Rev. Cedric Chambers of Calvary Church in Arlington, Texas, will serve as the guest speaker for the anniversary banquet slated for Friday, Jan. 20 at 7 p.m. For the event’s finale, the Rev. Patrick Jones of Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas will speak at 3:30 p.m.
